For me, cycling isn’t really about sticking to one discipline. It’s more about getting out, finding a good rhythm, and simply enjoying the ride.

My cycling naturally changes with the seasons. During the wetter months of the year, I mainly ride my Fuji mountain bike. I use it for a mix of forest trails, gravel roads, and asphalt rather than traditional technical mountain biking. It gives me the freedom to combine different surfaces without being limited by the conditions.

During the summer months, my Scott Addict 30 endurance road bike becomes my primary bike. It offers a different kind of experience, with a greater focus on speed, efficiency, and covering longer distances on the road, while still providing the comfort and relaxed riding position of an endurance bike.

Across both bikes, I focus on efficiency and comfort rather than anything too aggressive or technical. I enjoy maintaining a steady pace, covering some distance, and having the right bike for the season, route, and surface.

Over time, I have made a few changes and upgrades to my Fuji to better match how I ride. The Scott is still in its original setup, apart from the pedals, but it may naturally develop as I gain more experience with road cycling.

In this section, I have collected a bit about both bikes, their setups, and the choices behind them.
